Dear Diary,
At precisely 9:37 PM, my legs decided it was time. Louie was snoozing, Frank snoring, Dad relaxing—then zoom! I tore through the lounge, under tables, over cushions. Dad shouted, “Not again!” but I was powered by chaos. Eventually I collapsed, satisfied, like a furry tornado finding peace.
Lesson: Evening zoomies are normal bursts of pent-up energy. Short play sessions before bedtime or extra evening walks help release it productively. A tired dachshund sleeps better—and so does Dad. Controlled fun > midnight madness.
